Staff Show ‘Inspired’ Charity Support

Recruitment professionals from East Anglia have been turning their hand to volunteering activity, in aid of charity.

Staff from the Chelmsford office of Pure gave their time to support lunch clubs organised by local charity, Kids Inspire.

This is the second year the Pure team has offered a helping hand at the ‘Kids who Lunch’ clubs throughout the school summer holidays.

The clubs are run to help children who would normally receive school lunches and might otherwise miss out on a good meal during the summer holidays.

Ben Farrow, Director and Manager of Pure’s Chelmsford office, said: “Pure already supports Kids Inspire through fundraising events including our annual charity quiz and we also wanted to donate our time to help this fantastic charity.

“We like to volunteer at the summer holiday lunch clubs as we know this is a time when the extra support is a particular help. We have a great time with the children, getting involved in activities ranging from bug collecting and den building to arts and crafts and trips to feed the ducks. You can see how much everyone loves it and it is a great chance for the children to make new friends and to learn new things.”
