Twilight Race Sees Impressive Support

More than 1,500 local business representatives and keen sportsmen and women have completed The Ipswich Building Society Twilight 10K Race.

Collectively, their efforts have helped raise over £2,500 for Inspire Suffolk.

A local charity which supports young people to overcome challenges, Inspire Suffolk relies on fundraising donations and grants, and has been the race beneficiary for the third time this year.

Race Director, Carl Ashton, commented: “I am very pleased that Inspire Suffolk were our official charity partner once again for this year’s race. It’s fantastic to see so many runners supporting a local charity.”

Sara Warburton, Fundraising and Events officer from Inspire Suffolk commented: “We are delighted to have been the official charity for the Ipswich Twilight Races for the third year running.

“It is one of our biggest events of the year for raising awareness and vital funds. We were so pleased with the interest and enthusiasm we received from our runners and the public, which means so much to us as a local charity.”
