Striding for Survivors, This Christmas

Lawyers from Birketts LLP have announced their latest charitable effort in the region.

The company is entering several teams from its various offices into the ‘Walking Home for Christmas’ project, which is led by Norfolk’s Walking With the Wounded.

As part of the undertaking, one of the staff groups will set off late next week to walk from Kingfisher House office in Norwich, to Wymondham.

Walking Home for Christmas raises funds to help reintegrate homeless and other vulnerable veterans into society, and lead an independent life through employment.

Paul Palik, Senior Associate at Birketts, said: “We are looking forward to Walking Home For Christmas for the third year running.

“Not only is it a worthy cause but it’s also great for team building and a rewarding way to spend time with colleagues outside of the office.”

Walking With The Wounded Events and Partnerships Manager Andy Sloan, commented: “Birketts has shown outstanding support for our wounded ex-servicemen and women over the last few years and to have all four offices involved in our Christmas campaign this year is fantastic.”
